The team at DAE Renewables recently had the pleasure of attending the SEAI Home Energy Upgrade Event in Ashbourne, held at the Pillo Hotel, Ashbourne, Co. Meath. The event was a fantastic success, bringing together homeowners, energy experts, and local businesses to discuss practical ways to make homes warmer, more energy-efficient, and more sustainable.
Organised by the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI), the event created a great opportunity for homeowners across Ashbourne, Meath, and the wider Leinster region to learn more about home energy upgrades, solar panels, and renewable energy solutions. The room was full of great conversations as attendees asked questions about improving their home’s energy efficiency, reducing electricity bills, and understanding the grants available to support upgrades.
Throughout the afternoon, the DAE Renewables team spoke with many homeowners who were curious about installing solar panels and battery storage. We were delighted to provide advice on how solar works, what kind of savings homeowners can expect, and whether their property would be suitable for a solar installation.
A big topic of conversation at the event was the SEAI grants available for home energy upgrades, including the solar PV grant of up to €1,800 for eligible homes. These supports are helping more households across Ireland make the switch to renewable energy while improving their Building Energy Rating (BER) and reducing long-term energy costs.
Events like the SEAI Home Energy Upgrade Event in Ashbourne are incredibly valuable for connecting homeowners with trusted local experts and helping people feel more confident about starting their home energy upgrade journey.
We would like to thank SEAI and everyone who attended for making the event such a success. It was great to meet so many homeowners from the local community, and we look forward to continuing the conversations with those who are exploring solar energy and home energy upgrades in Meath and across Leinster.
